I’ve always hated running. It’s so boring. I need something to focus on, this is why I love Zumba & Insanity.
I woke up and felt the energy, screaming at the hubs, who’s still in bed, “Better watch yo kids” (...better hide yo kids, hide yo wife) Sorry, I get more side-tracked than a 3 year old in a candy store, lol.
I went for, well what I consider, a run and there was no pain or discomfort involved. I have some seriously, supportive bras. It may have been only .66 of a mile in 13:35 minutes, burning 75 calories, but it felt so good….too good.
As usual, the endorphins created a monster and my ego got the best of me.
Of course, I did something really naughty. So bad infact, I’m ashamed to share it.
Confessions of a crappy recovery patient
I tried to complete Insanity’s Cardio Circuit. I did modify, but I tried one push-up and collapsed with the worst pain evah! Go figure, my boobies still really hurt.
The good news!
I’ve lost 2lbs/20lbs I have to lose! Yay-ness!!
Since it’s not interfering with my recovery, I just added a ‘Running’ category to phatycake.com!
Everyday, I’m going to try to beat my last time and very slowly increase my mileage.
